Finally back on winning track…

After some bad weeks where Liverpool just couldn’t seem to win any matches (and Rafa’s Rotation Policy is called into question again), we finally starting winning matches, 3-1 at Aston Villa, 3-0 Bordeaux and hopefully another win this Sat with Reading……..

Not just wins but playing some good football as well.

But gosh… look at Riise (left) after the head butt from a Brazilian Bordeaux player (who obviously was given the red card)!

Added: Read this from The Echo and thot it’ll help to explain why Riise didn’t throw the ball back to Bordeaux. Liverpool has always been known to be sporting, and here it seems FIFA needs to step in and ensure some of the rule “variants” are applied across the board and not just in a local league.

“Premiership players have been advised to abandon the goodwill gesture of throwing the ball back to opponents following treatment to injured players, unless ordered to do so by the referee.

The new code isn’t applied in Europe, which explains why John Arne Riise caused mayhem by attempting to claim an advantage.” ~~The Echo
