Just thought of posting a quick one that 1) illustrates how Barcelona is taking city streets back from cars with it's Superblocks model, and 2) the video giving some background to how the "blocky" nature of Barcelona was conceptualized back in 1859.
Came across this lovely pic from Derek Hopper's tweet of a view from the top of this beautiful city. Indeed Barcelona looks unique from the sky. My first trip to Barna was donkey years back when I was working on some UK/Spain business projects. It was a short trip and by myself but I fell in love with this European city then.

Run in Paris Part 2 covering our run along the rive Droite (right bank of Seine) to the Obelisque to complete the first 10K leg.
What do you do when you DNS (missed) a planned 10K run when in Paris? Well, you just get out and do your own Run in Paris!
Their first race only had 200 participants. In this year's run, they'd over 1,500 runners. Let us take you to Bidor for a 10K run.
Read about our recce run at the Retiro Park which is the finishing point for the Madrid Rock-n-Roll Run.
One of the key events of the Madrid Rock & Roll Marathon is arguably Europe's largest Health & Fitness Expo (with most vendors displaying running related merchandise) held at the Pabellon de La Pipa, which is the venue where we'll be collecting our race pack.
Even though we only slept around 12 m/n (after getting back from the Carcasean boardgaming session), I felt well rested when I woke up around 5ish. The plus point of staying just 1KM away from the starting point (Likassquare Condo) is that you can afford to wake up later and just saunter your way to the race venue.
